I noted in "Captive Warriors" by Rep. (AF Col, Ret) Sam Johnson who spent 7 years as POW in Hanoi Hilton, and suffered injries that have crippled his body (but not his spirit) Sen. McCain was not mentioned. However I knew many of the Air Force Officers mentioned, whom I met at Nellis AFB between 1950-54) as Personnel Technician maintaining their records to ensure they were accurate and complete. Final phase gunnery training for fighter pilots, they went to Korea , and later Vietnam (where captured). And his remark to Sen. John Cornyn, TX fits in with those other white-haired men in the Senate who believe they are smarter than any President, and they own the Senate. Reason I am unaffiliated voter. Would like to vote in primary, but neither major party represents my views, or me. But I have not missed a General Election vote. I have always considered John McCain as a RHINO.
